Semiprivate play sessions
Every child needs a modern Mary Poppins, someone who believes in their magic, helps them feel emotionally safe, securely attached, and free to play in their own way.
That's how 2 to 7-year-olds can actually learn something new. But play-based learning isn't always what people think it is. It's mostly child-led and focuses on social-emotional learning, something you don't really see in typical English classrooms.
It's intentional and based on neuroscience: what we know about how little brains actually develop best and what works for their nervous systems.
Based on this knowledge, and inspired by Reggio and Montessori principles, I create routines and themed frameworks to shape my sessions, but your child decides how they want to explore and engage. Instead of telling them exactly what to do, I create invitations to play, ask questions, play alongside them, and gently guide them to use English naturally.

My groups are mixed-age, with a maximum of 5 kids, and that's on purpose. Older kids build confidence by taking the little ones under their wing. Toddlers and preschoolers, in turn, learn just by watching kids who are a few steps ahead. It's a mini version of the real world: different ages, different languages, different ways of being, all in one room. The result? Kids feel like they truly belong, they grow socially and emotionally, and they build a foundation for lifelong learning.
Fluency comes from speaking English in real situations, through play, music, and fun activities where kids actually need the language. Teaching abstract concepts like the days of the week or the alphabet simply isn't developmentally appropriate for 2 to 7-year-olds. They might memorize it, but they don't truly understand what it means. If a child shows genuine interest in something academic, I offer them the chance to explore it. But it has to feel meaningful to them. That's what neuroscience consistently shows us.

Kids are welcome exactly as they are, regardless of background, learning styles, or how their brain works. Sometimes they're not in the best mood, and that's okay. Some children find it hard to say goodbye to their parents/caregivers at first, that's completely normal. I help your child navigate their big feelings through co-regulation and movements that help regulate their nervous system. And hey, a spoonful of humor always helps too!
